Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl admits cheating on wife Jordyn Blum and fathering secret love child
Dave Grohl has admitted to cheating on his wife Jordyn Blum and fathering a secret baby girl.
The Foo Fighters singer, 55, made the shocking admission on a statement posted to Instagram on Tuesday.
The statement read: ‘I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her.
Grohl and Blum, 48, met in 2001 and have been married since 2003, sharing three daughters – Violet, Harper and Ophelia.

She previously worked as a model and TV producer.
The rock star, who has often been described as a ‘family man,’ has spoken about the importance of his family in interviews throughout the years.
In 2007, Grohl told The Guardian, ‘[My wife] Jordyn and [daughter] Violet are anchors that keep me from completely disappearing.’
Speaking to TIME in 2012, he said his family ‘changed everything that I do.’
He added: ‘It’s changed everything that I do. When you have kids, you see life through different eyes. You feel love more deeply and are maybe a little more compassionate. It’s inevitable that that would make its way into your songwriting.’

News of his recent infidelity come after he was seen with Blum at Wimbledon in July
Grohl divorced his first wife Jennifer Leigh Youngblood in 1997 after admitting to cheating.
While little is publicly known about Blum, People reported she once appeared on the cover of Teen – after being discovered at a supermarket when she was 12.
Blum was reportedly working as a producer at MTV when she met the frontman.
But Grohl told Elle in 2007 that he was not ready for a serious relationship when they first met, and stopped calling Blum after a few dates.
He shared: ‘After three months, I had a revelation and called her back. She picked up the phone and said, “Oh, I never thought I’d hear from you again.”‘
Blum has collaborated wit the Foo Fighters several times, including in the band’s 2002 video White Limo, where she made an appearance.

She also co-directed the Foo Fighter’s 2002 Walking a Line music video.
News of Grohl’s infidelity comes after he was seen with Blum at Wimbledon in July.
Grohl wore a dark suit with a gold tie, white shirt and Dolce & Gabbana loafers as he was seen smiling in his shades.
Meanwhile she looked stylish in a lilac blazer and matching midi dress.
Grohl made headlines earlier this summer when he publicly blasted Taylor Swift, suggesting the singer doesn’t sing live.
The Foo Fighters frontman took a swipe at the pop queen, dubbing her sell out tour the ‘errors’ tour while quipping that his band ‘actually play live’.
While performing at the London Stadium, he referred to Swift while she was playing the same night on the other side of the capital in Wembley – to boos from some fans.
He addressed the crowd: ‘We were joking about the Taylor Swift tour earlier. I know that she’s on her ‘errors’ tour.
‘I tell you man, you don’t want to suffer the wrath of Taylor Swift.
‘So we like to call our tour the Errors Tour.
‘We’ve had more than a few eras, and more than a few f***ing errors as well. Just a couple.’
The band leader clarified: ‘That’s because we actually play live. What?’
To great cheers, he continued: ‘Just saying. You guys like raw live rock ‘n’ roll music right?
‘You came to the right f***ing place!’

Aaron Rodgers issues warning to NFL rivals after making his long-awaited comeback in Jets’ defeat by 49ers
Aaron Rodgers believes he’ll only improve after making his long-awaited NFL comeback on Monday night for the Jets.
After tearing his Achilles in Week 1 last season, Rodgers played his first complete game for New York as the Jets lost 32-19 in San Francisco.
While the result wasn’t what he was hoping for, he was understandably pleased to get through the game unscathed – and sees himself being able to ‘really let loose’ before too long.
‘Yeah, my body held up. I feel like I’m gonna keep on getting more comfortable out there,’ he said on the Pat McAfee Show.
‘Meaning the more I play, the more potential for scrambles could happen with each game, where I get even more confident and really let loose. But I feel 100 percent [confident], it’s just maybe I can do a little bit more every single week.’
Aaron Rodgers made his return to the field for the New York Jets on Monday night
Rodgers added about his Achilles, ‘I actually felt good… I only took two shots. I took a hit from an interior guy, I got sacked one time – that was it. So I felt like the pass protection was very nice all night.’
Rodgers completed 13 of 21 passes for 167 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing an interception in the third quarter.
‘It’s such a long road, I thought about all the different things that happened over the last year,’ he said of his thoughts early in the game. ‘Tomorrow is a year since the injury – a lot’s changed in my life in the last year. So I felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude.
Rodgers added that he was texting with former teammates Randall Cobb and (McAfee Show co-host) A.J. Hawk while on the team bus prior to the game.
‘Just a lot of things were hitting me – [my] 20th season, all the rehab that happened, all the ups and downs of the last year.
‘…And the anthem hit and I just had a big calm that just came over, and all the anxiety around getting hit and staying healthy left my body, and I just went out there and felt at ease about being back out there.’
Rodgers will have a chance to continue his progress against the Titans this weekend.

Very good start to the game from Anthony Gordon here. Terrorising his right-back. Nice balance and genuine end product. Will be interesting to see how he fits into Carsley’s plans when Phil Foden and Jude Bellingham are back available.

‘Kane has to produce’
All of the pre-match ceremony has been around Harry Kane – and rightly so – but he does need to produce on the pitch now, after another below-par performance in Dublin.
At what stage do we start asking serious questions about his place in the starting XI? I can’t remember his last outstanding game for England.

‘Wembley nowhere near full’
Whatever official attendance is given later on, the fact is that Wembley is nowhere near full. The top tier is about half full and there are spaces on the lower section too.
Now that the national stadium has been fully paid off, there really is no excuse for not taking England games round the country. The best atmosphere for an England game recently was at St James’ Park when Gareth Southgate’s team played a pre-Euro 2024 friendly against Bosnia.

‘Keen to see how Gomes gets on’
I am keen to see how players such Angel Gomes get on tonight but it will be hard to make a definitive judgement given the nature of the opposition.
Finland are ranked 63rd in the world and the last team of note they beat was Denmark back in Euro 2020. This is the problem facing England in Nations League Group B2, sadly. The opposition will not necessarily provide much of a test.

Carsley: ‘Gomes can dictate play’
It’s important we look forward to playing at home. Hopefully we can give the fans something good to see.
Hopefully Angel Gomes will control the game and dictate the play. It’s important we don’t put too much pressure on him. I have a lot of confidence in him. I have played Rico Lewis as left-back before and I have a lot of confidence. We’ve got to be creative with the way that we play.
Jack Grealish and Anthony Gordon were excellent the other night. They get you up the pitch. It’s a great moment. It’s a moment I’m really looking forward to and hopefully it will be a memorable one.

Cole: ‘Sven gave me belief’
He gave me an opportunity in the team, he gave me belief. He made sure you were ok. We were going there (Germany) as underdogs. Sven made that clear. To go there and produce the performance we did was massive.
The team was that good, and exciting. There was always the belief that Sven would get the best out of the team. He gave us the framework.
What we saw of the character was a lovely man. I felt Sven could have got more out of us (in the 2006 World Cup). I want to be left with a beautiful memory of him.

‘Eriksson lived his life with uncommon grace’
Sven-Goran Eriksson did not waste any time on anger, resentment or regret. He lived his life with uncommon grace. When he was lampooned by critics, he never responded in kind. The worst that he did was turn the other way.
He never criticised his players in public and they loved him for that, too. His last act as England manager, in fact, was to plead with the media not to ‘kill’ Wayne Rooney after he had been sent off during England’s quarter-final elimination at the hands of Portugal during the 2006 World Cup.
And many loved him for his pursuit of hedonism. Football, it sometimes seemed, was a vehicle for him to chase prizes in his personal life that might otherwise have been beyond his reach.

‘Carsley wants players to call him “Cars”‘
Ahead of Lee Carsley’s home debut as England manager, I was interested to hear him say he doesn’t want his players to address him formally.
‘Lee’ or ‘Cars’ are his preferred terms and I find that a little odd. He may only be the stand-in manager, but he’s still the manager…

Carsley: ‘We have to be realistic with certain players’
We have to be realistic that the players that didn’t have a lot of time off in the summer, came back having maybe not played as many minutes, to expect them just to go into, especially, a game in Dublin at the tempo that we thought it would be and the physicality. I didn’t want to put them in a position where if they didn’t do well, you could almost see what they didn’t do well.
It just gave us a chance to do a bit more work with them during the week and then put them in a position… and there’s maybe four or five that needed that extra work and that extra day’s training which will hopefully help them.

‘Lewis is in line to start’
Rico Lewis is in line to start for England tonight. The 19-year-old full-back is hopeful of getting the nod to make only his second senior appearance, coming in for Levi Colwill – who started Saturday’s 2-0 win over Republic of Ireland.
Lee Carsley is pondering two other changes to his defence; with centre-backs John Stones and Ezri Konsa in line to start the game ahead of Marc Guehi and Harry Maguire, who played in Dublin.

Kane: ‘It’s possible to reach 100 goals’
These 100 caps have come around so quickly, especially the last few years playing three major tournaments in such a short space of time. The goals were similar, I felt I was on 30 goals and then, bam… I went to 50 and 60. It is definitely there and definitely possible [to reach 100 goals]. I feel like I am in a good place and these are good targets to try to reach.
Some people may see them as unrealistic but I would rather go for something unrealistic and not quite make it rather than be comfortable just saying I will be happy with 70 or 80 goals. [Staying at the top level] is probably the hardest part. You see a lot of players who have a few good seasons but then drop off and I think the hardest thing to do is to maintain it and consistently play at the highest level.
That’s why I have so much respect for Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and these players. To be able to do it for 15 or 20 years is some mindset and some achievement. For now, 100 caps tomorrow, that’s part of the reason I am really proud. At 31, I am in a good place both mentally and physically and some of the players ahead of me like Ronaldo have helped prove to me I can be at this level for a long time.

Beyoncé reveals she didn’t want daughter Blue-Ivy onstage during Renaissance tour as superstar lifts the lid on parenthood, privacy and the ‘prison’ of fame: ‘Raising three kids isn’t easy’
For some, the sight of Blue-Ivy Carter joining her superstar mother onstage remains one of the defining takeaways from Beyoncé’s sweeping Renaissance world tour.
The singer’s 12-year old daughter with Jay-Z became a regular fixture during her live sets as the tour moved from mainland Europe to the United States between March and September 2023.
But the R&B superstar admits she was reluctant to allow her eldest child onstage prior to her first appearance at Stade De France in Saint Denis on May 26, where she surprised fans by dancing with her mother during renditions of My Power and Black Parade, a song released in response to the 2020 murder of George Floyd.
‘Blue is an artist. She has great taste in music and fashion,’ she told the October edition of GQ. ‘She is a fantastic editor, painter, and actress. She has been creating characters since she was three.
Beyoncé has lifted the veil on her life as a working mother in an unguarded interview with the October edition of GQ
The singer’s 12-year old daughter with Jay-Z became a regular fixture during her live sets as the tour moved from mainland Europe to the United States between March and September 2023
‘She’s a natural, but I did not want Blue onstage. Blue wanted it for herself. She took it seriously and she earned it.
‘And most importantly, she had fun! We all watched her grow more and more every night before our eyes.’
The R&B superstar, also a parent to six-year old twins Rumi and Sir, admits her daughter’s presence on tour was facilitated by a pre-arranged decision to perform 56 shows across a five month period that covered her children’s school holidays.
‘I try to only tour when my kids are out of school,’ she said. ‘I always dreamt of a life where I could see the world with my family and expose them to different languages, architecture, and lifestyles.
‘Raising three kids isn’t easy….I love it. It’s grounding and fulfilling. My kids come with me everywhere I go. They come to my office after school, and they are in the studio with me. They are in dance rehearsals.’
She added: ‘One thing I’ve worked extremely hard on is making sure my kids can have as much normalcy and privacy as possible, ensuring my personal life isn’t turned into a brand.
‘It’s very easy for celebrities to turn our lives into performance art. I have made an extreme effort to stay true to my boundaries and protect myself and my family. No amount of money is worth my peace.’
The singer is currently two albums into a sprawling conceptual odyssey that has so far documented black influence on disco in 2021 release Renaissance and country in 2023’s groundbreaking Cowboy Carter.

How she ends the trilogy is on a need to know basis, at least for the time being, but she admits the countdown will begin when she retreats from the spotlight that continues to shine following Carter’s surprise omission from the recently announced Country Music Awards nominations.
The Texas-born singer failed to receive a single nomination, despite latest album Cowboy Carter proving to be a cultural phenomenon upon its release.
The album’s absence among this year’s slate of nominees was conspicuous: Texas Hold ‘Em, its first single, soared to the top of the charts, including the country list, and the album was widely considered a smash.
‘I only work on what liberates me,’ she said. ‘It is fame that can at times feel like prison. So, when you don’t see me on red carpets, and when I disappear until I have art to share, that’s why.’
She added: ‘I am a musician first. It has always been my priority. I didn’t get into anything that could take away from my artistry until I felt I was solidified as a master at my first love, music.
‘I don’t waste my time on something unless I’m deeply passionate about it. If I don’t wake up thinking about it and I’m not going to sleep dreaming about it, it’s not for me.’

Those passions include a keen interest in whiskey, with the singer keen to branch into an already convoluted industry with her own brand.
‘I love everything about whiskey,’ she explained. ‘The color, the smell, the way it dances in the glass… and I love the stories that come with it.
‘Every bottle has a history. I also like introducing whiskey to people who don’t know they love it yet.’
For now, the singer is happy to indulge herself in personal passion projects that enable her to channel her creativity away from the recording studio.
There was disappointment on Monday, with the singer failing to receive a Country Music Association awards nomination, despite latest album Cowboy Carter proving to be a cultural phenomenon upon release this year
‘Music understands my heart even when I can’t find words. But always, it’s in those private sanctuaries – the studio, the car – where I find my peace.
‘I make honey, paint, decorate, swim, and design clothes and stages. I have written children’s books for my children and design animation.
‘Anything creative makes me happy.’
